About RefreshCache

RefreshCache is a free two and a half day event created for developers working with the Arena ChMS platform. It's geared toward the ministry-organization who is already an Arena customer and is active in the Arena Community.

We're looking forward to a great year in 2010. We've got some fantastic speakers lined up. This will be our first year with sponsors, so we can provide more awesomeness than we were able to previously. Most importantly, though, we'll still have some the same amazing technical content and fellowship that we had in 2009.

RefreshCache is created by Arena Community developers for Arena Community developers.

Our Manifesto

The RefreshCache community is a group of connected web designers and developers from churches, businesses, and non-profits that leverage the power of the Arena Church Management System. Our purpose is to create an environment driven by innovation and collaboration. We seek to empower each other; to share ideas and code, and to shatter the traditional business dependencies on silos and secrecy that plague many ministry organizations today.

We believe that through our God-given talents in design, software engineering and the power of Arena, we are in control of our own destinies. With innovation and collaboration, we can give birth to far greater things than a single church IT staff can alone.

A Disclaimer

RefreshCache is in no way meant to compete with Arena's Roundtable conference held in conjunction with ISC. In our experience, the Arena Roundtable has been more focused on IT management and product guidance. We seek to focus on the software/web development staff and geek out on all the technical stuff. Managers are welcome and loved, but RefreshCache is dedicated to driving innovation through engineering.
